Paul Rorie

Paul Rorie represents both individuals and businesses in all types of litigation matters, including auto/trucking accidents, workplace accidents, oilfield litigation, premises liability, and construction cases. Before joining GKBK, Paul practiced insurance defense on behalf of one of the largest insurance companies in the United States. He has been licensed to practice law for the past 16 years. 

A member of Rotary of The Woodlands, Paul commits to service above self by organizing Rotary teams for The Woodlands Family YMCA Dragon Boat Races and Interfaith’s Senior Holiday Giving Lunch. Paul is also an active member of the Garland R. Walker American Inn of Court and its award-winning musical theater pupilage group led by Chief Justice of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeal Jennifer Walker Elrod, which writes and performs an original musical each year based on cutting-edge issues in the law and is dedicated to the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and civility. 

A graduate of Jesuit schools including Loyola High School of Los Angeles and Santa Clara University, Paul strives to embody the Jesuit motto of being a man for others. As the chair of the Community Outreach and Pro Bono section of his local bar association, Paul personally provided pro bono services to over one thousand self-represented litigants in his hometown community.

Paul has also taught business law, contracts, and torts courses at two colleges and substitute taught regularly in Conroe ISD school district. He and his wife live in The Woodlands together with their four-year-old son.
