Biography
Sarah Shoulton earned her undergraduate degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan and later obtained her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas.
Sarah advises and represents contractors, subcontractors, insurers, and businesses in a broad range of construction, commercial, and business matters. Her practice includes contract drafting and negotiation, commercial disputes, business litigation, risk management, and construction related claims. Whether assisting clients with day to day legal issues, resolving disputes, or navigating complex litigation, Sarah works closely with her clients to develop practical, results oriented solutions that protect their interests and support their long term business objectives.
Sarah is also committed to staying engaged with the industries and businesses she serves. She was a speaker at the 2025 Dallas Builders Expo and has appeared as a guest on the Construction Legal Made Easy podcast, where she discussed legal issues affecting the construction industry. Through her practice and industry involvement, Sarah strives to serve not only as an advocate when disputes arise, but also as a trusted legal resource for businesses seeking to identify risks, strengthen contractual relationships, and make informed decisions.
A proud New York native, Sarah brings passion, dedication, and a deep sense of purpose to every client she serves. Inspired by her younger brother, who is autistic, she has developed a lifelong commitment to advocating for individuals with special needs and their families. Outside of her legal career, Sarah is active in her church and local community. She has a love for travel, having visited 24 countries, and enjoys baking and cooking in her free time.
